RULES OF THE 2021 - 2022 WINTER PAL YOUTH RUNNING SERIES
There will be 10 separate scored divisions:
Boys: Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8
Girls: Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8
(3rd graders may run with the 4th graders and will be scored as 4th graders)
Points will be awarded in each of the 10 divisions as follows:
Boys: Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8
Girls: Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each of the 10 divisions at the conclusion of the final event. In order to be eligible for a season end trophy, a runner must finish a minimum of 3 of the 5 events. In case of a tie at the end of the season, the following criteria will be used: The runner who has the most head to head victories against the tied competitor will be awarded the trophy. If there is still a tie, the winner of the last head to head meeting will be declared the winner.
Series Finisher Medals will be awarded to all runners completing at least 3 of the 5 events.

BONUS: Bonus Points can be earned for completing currently scheduled 5k running races in Flagler County during the series season. Three bonus points will be awarded to series runners for each of the races completed. It will be the responsibility of the runner to notify the scorer of the completion of one or more of these races. Verification will result in the posting of any additional bonus point(s)
